Vector Corporation partners with the leading barrier isolation companies to develop and manufacture systems that meet operator safety and environmental protection standards for processing potent compounds. Partnering allows Vector to provide the most advanced pharmaceutical processor while utilizing the talent and expertise of today’s isolator technology leaders. Vector manages the design, manufacture, and testing of the complete system. This provides the end-user a single point of contact throughout the entire manufacturing and installation of the equipment.

Vector partnered with Applied Containment Engineering (ACE) to manufacture a laboratory Flo-Coater system capable of fluid bed drying, top spray granulation, and Wurster coating.
Other features include:

Vector partnered with Howorth Pharma to manufacture an LDCS Hi-Coater System. The system can use multiple size coating pans ranging from 0.5 L to 6.0 L. The control system and AHU are all on board the LDCS.

Vector partnered with Howorth Pharma to manufacture a laboratory size Flo-Coater system capable of processing potent compounds. The system can perform fluid bed drying, top spray granulation, Wurster coating, and Granurex rotor processes.
Standard features include:
In applications where the OEL is not as stringent, Vector Corporation manufactures systems that contains product without the use of an isolator. The systems are designed to meet cGMP standards and include integrated spray wands and nozzles for wash-in-place (WIP) and clean-in-place (CIP). Ergonomic and maintenance issues were emphasized during the design phase to assure ease of equipment operation and cleaning.

This 625L fully perforated coating pan utilizes split valve technology to load tablets. The system maintains a 5 µg/m3 OEL containment level during operation. The system also includes a full CIP system, Compu 4 controls, and a patented product sampling device.

For high shear granulation and drying processes, Vector manufactures integrated granulation suites. Suites are designed to contain product from loading the granulator through the discharge of the fluid bed. CIP and WIP control methods are included in the overall system design.
