Design for 21 CFR Part 11

Vector's Compu 4® Recipe WorkSpace is a simple to use, yet powerful recipe creation/management tool. The Recipe WorkSpace follows the ISA S88.01 standard and supports full phase based recipe creation. It was also designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11. The toolbar at the top is configured to display all the phase components for your system. (For example, a system may have a phase for Airflow Control, or Temperature Control, etc.) To add a phase to a step is as simple as dragging the phase icon from the tool bar to the desired step.

Once the phase has been added to the step, it is now time to configure it. With the Recipe WorkSpace, this is also very easy. Clicking on the desired phase with the mouse will open the phase configuration window. From here you can easily modify all aspects of the phase.

The Recipe WorkSpace has a transition editor that allows you to create very flexible recipe transitions.
